Fort McCoy sits northeast of Ocala on CR 316, between Sparr and Eureka, just north of Silver Springs along CR 315 and right on the western edge of the Ocala National Forest. It is about a 25 minute run from our shop, and bounce house rentals in Fort McCoy are a regular part of our week, whether you are near the Fort McCoy School, out by Lake Kerr, or down one of the long sand drives off NE 160th Avenue Road.

The advantage out here is space. Where a city backyard forces you to pick between the bounce house and the picnic tables, a Fort McCoy lot usually has room for both, plus parking for everyone. That makes the area a natural fit for birthday parties, church gatherings, school fundraisers, graduation cookouts, and family reunions where half the family is driving in from somewhere else.

Rural setups come with their own short list, though, and a little planning saves everyone time on party day. Pine needles and sandspurs are worth raking out of the setup area first, since kids will be barefoot. Sandy forest soil takes our steel stakes well, but gopher tortoise burrows and old stump holes are easy to miss in tall grass, so walk the spot before you commit to it. If your house sits well back from the road, tell us about gates, cattle guards, low branches over the drive, or anything that would give a box truck trouble. And because cell service can drop off in places between Eureka and the forest, we like to confirm the details the day before rather than calling from your mailbox.

One more thing worth flagging when you book: how far your setup spot is from a working outlet. On larger Fort McCoy properties the best patch of grass is often a long way from the house, and a blower needs steady power for the whole rental.
